Delete your data

Effective: November 2, 2026 · CleanLeaf for Android and for iPhone and iPad (com.durusoft.storage.cleaner.cleanleaf) by DuruSoft

There is no CleanLeaf account

CleanLeaf has no sign-in and no servers of its own, so there is no account to delete. Everything the app keeps is on your device, and you delete it there.

1Delete everything on your device

On Android

  1. If you have a subscription, cancel it first in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions (deleting the app does not cancel it).
  2. Export anything you want to keep from the private vault. Vault items cannot be recovered after the next step.
  3. Open Android Settings › Apps › CleanLeaf › Storage and tap Clear storage, or uninstall the app.

This deletes scan results, selections, statistics, trash records, contact backups, the vault, settings and your last known Premium status. Photos already in the trash stay in Android’s trash until it empties them (30 days) or you restore or delete them in your gallery app.

On iPhone and iPad

  1. If you have a subscription, cancel it first in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions (deleting the app does not cancel it).
  2. Delete the app: touch and hold the CleanLeaf icon › Remove App › Delete App, or Settings › General › iPhone Storage › CleanLeaf › Delete App.

This deletes scan results, selections, statistics, the widget summary, settings and your last known Premium status. Photos you deleted with CleanLeaf stay in Photos › Recently Deleted until iOS removes them (30 days) or you restore or delete them there.

2Device backup

On Android, if backup is on, your CleanLeaf settings may be in your Google account backup. You can delete backups in Google Drive › Backups or turn backup off in Android Settings.

On iPhone and iPad, your iCloud backup may contain CleanLeaf’s settings and statistics. To remove them, go to Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage › Backups, choose your device and turn CleanLeaf off, or delete the backup.

3Advertising data (free plan)

Google AdMob receives the data described in our Privacy Policy. On Android you can delete your advertising ID in Android Settings › Privacy › Ads › Delete advertising ID. On iPhone and iPad, CleanLeaf does not ask to track you, so the ads software cannot read your advertising identifier. On both, you can change ad choices in the app under Me › Settings › Privacy & ads › Privacy options (where available). Google keeps ad data under its own policy.

4Purchase data

RevenueCat keeps a random app user ID with your purchase history so Premium can be restored. To have it deleted, email us from the address you want us to answer, with the subject “Delete my CleanLeaf purchase data”. We will ask RevenueCat to delete it, usually within 30 days. Google Play keeps your order history in your Google account, and Apple keeps it in your Apple Account.
