1Agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and DuruSoft, based in Türkiye (“we”, “us”), for the Water Eject app for Android and for iPhone and iPad (listed as “Water Eject: Speaker Cleaner” on Google Play and “Water Eject – Speaker Cleaning” on the App Store, and under translated names in other languages), including Water Eject Pro (the “app”). By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app. Where a section says “on Android” or “on iPhone and iPad”, it applies only to that version.

You also use the app under the terms of the store you got it from, which apply to downloading the app and paying for Pro: the Google Play Terms of Service on Android, and Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions on iPhone and iPad (see section 11). If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you.

2What the app does

Water Eject plays tones, frequency sweeps and pulses through your device’s loudspeaker and earpiece (and, in some modes, your headphones), optionally together with vibration on devices that have it. Sound pressure moves the speaker membrane, which can help push out water and loosen dust caught in the speaker grille. The app also includes a tone generator, a speaker test, a microphone test and a dB meter.

The animations in the app show how the method works. They are illustrations and do not mean that you will see water coming out of your phone.

3Safe use

Protect your hearing. Cleaning uses loud, low and high tones at high volume, and the tone generator can play up to 20,000 Hz. Never hold the phone against or close to your ear while a cleaning, test or tone is playing, and do not play tones through headphones you are wearing at high volume.

Hold or place the phone with the speaker facing down, as the app suggests, and keep it away from your ears, children and pets. Some animals can hear high tones that people cannot.
Stop at once if the speaker rattles, distorts, gets warm, or the phone behaves unusually. The app adds a short rest between longer sessions to protect the speaker; please do not work around it by running sessions back to back for a long time.
Water Eject does not dry a phone that has been submerged. If your phone has been under water, follow the manufacturer’s guidance (for example, switch it off and let it dry) and have it checked if it shows signs of damage. Do not put your phone in water to test the app.
Do not use the app where loud sounds could startle others or are not allowed, or where you need your full attention, such as while driving.

4No guaranteed results

How well the app works depends on your phone’s speaker design, how much water or dust there is and where it is. We do not promise that the app will remove all water or dust, restore your speaker’s sound, or fix any hardware fault. The app is not a repair service and does not replace a manufacturer, a warranty claim or a qualified technician.

5Measurements are estimates

Phone microphones are not calibrated measuring instruments. The dB meter, the speaker test and the before/after comparison give approximate values that can differ between phones and situations. Do not rely on them for medical, occupational, legal, safety or regulatory purposes. Measurement photos show the app’s estimate at the time of the photo.

6Free features and Water Eject Pro

Always free: water ejection on the main speaker and earpiece, vibration cleaning, the quick test, the basic speaker test, the microphone test, the live dB meter, the weekly reminder and the cleaning history. Deep Clean is free once a day. Some features depend on your device’s hardware: for example, iPad has no earpiece and no vibration.

Water Eject Pro adds unlimited Deep Clean, Dust Mode, cleaning each speaker on its own and headphone cleaning, the full tone generator (10–20,000 Hz, four waveforms), the speaker test’s before/after comparison, dB history and measurement photos, and removes all ads.

One-time payment. Pro is a single purchase, not a subscription, and it does not renew. On Android it is bought with your Google account; the price, any introductory offer and its end date are shown in the app and by Google Play before you pay, in your local currency and including the taxes Google Play applies. On iPhone and iPad it is an In-App Purchase with your Apple Account; the price is shown in the app and by the App Store before you pay, in your local currency and including the taxes the App Store applies.
Payment and refunds are handled by Google Play on Android and by Apple on iPhone and iPad, under their terms and refund policies (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com). We cannot issue refunds ourselves. Your statutory rights as a consumer, including any right of withdrawal under the law of your country, are not affected. If you have a problem with Pro, contact us and we will do our best to help.
Restoring. Pro is linked to the Google account or Apple Account used to buy it and can be restored on your devices with the same account through “Restore purchase”. A purchase on Android does not unlock Pro on iPhone or iPad, or the other way round, because each store keeps its own purchases. A refunded or reversed purchase removes Pro.
Earlier purchases (Android). If you bought “Remove Ads” in an earlier Android version, you get Pro at no extra cost.
Lifetime means for as long as we offer the app in the store you bought it from and it supports your device. We may add, change or remove Pro features over time, but we will not take away the core of what you paid for without a fair reason, and we will not ask existing Pro owners to pay again for the features listed in the app at the time of purchase.

7Ads and rewarded unlocks

The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob, as described in the Privacy Policy. Ads are not shown before your first cleaning, during a cleaning, or to Pro users.

For some Pro features you can choose to watch a rewarded ad. A completed rewarded ad unlocks a single use: one Deep Clean, Dust Mode or Channels/Headphones session; the full tone generator until you leave its screen; one before/after speaker comparison; or one measurement photo. Unused unlocks stay on your device until you use them. Rewarded unlocks have no cash value, cannot be transferred and are not available for every feature (for example, dB history and ad removal need Pro). Whether an ad is available depends on Google and your region; we cannot guarantee one is always available.

8Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these terms and the rules of the store you got it from (on iPhone and iPad, including the Usage Rules in Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions). The app, its design, sounds, texts, graphics and code belong to DuruSoft or its licensors and are protected by law. Open-source components included in the app are licensed under their own licences, which take precedence for those components.

9Acceptable use

You agree not to:

copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
remove, bypass or tamper with purchases, ads, rewarded ads, usage limits or security features;
click ads you are not interested in, use automation to view ads, or otherwise generate invalid ad activity;
use the app to disturb, harm or harass people or animals, or in breach of any law.

10Third-party services

The app relies on services from Google, including Google Play on Android (downloads, payments, ratings and updates) and Google AdMob (ads and consent), and on iPhone and iPad from Apple (App Store downloads, payments and ratings) and RevenueCat (checking and restoring purchases). These services are provided under their own terms and policies, and ads show content from third-party advertisers. We are not responsible for third-party content, products or websites you reach through an ad or link.

11App Store terms

If you got the app from Apple’s App Store, your licence to use it is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add to it; if they conflict about your licence, the Standard EULA applies. You also acknowledge that:

these terms are between you and DuruSoft only, not Apple, and DuruSoft, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content;
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app; please contact us instead;
if the app does not conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app;
DuruSoft, not Apple, is responsible for handling any claims about the app, including product liability, failure to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection and privacy claims, and any claim that the app infringes someone’s intellectual property rights;
you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties;
you will comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app; and
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

12Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data the app uses and why. In short: there is no account, your data stays on your device, the microphone is used only while a tool is open, and we do not sell personal data.

13Changes to the app

We work to improve the app and may update, change or stop features, or stop supporting older Android or iOS versions. Some updates may be needed to keep using the app. The app works offline; only ads, purchases and updates need an internet connection.

14Liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties beyond those set out in these terms, including that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free or will achieve a particular result.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for damage caused by using the app against the safe-use guidance in section 3, or for damage to a device that was already damaged or exposed to water. Our total liability to you for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid for Water Eject Pro, or USD 10 if you have not bought it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability or right that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your rights under consumer protection law in your country (in Türkiye, Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection), and liability for intent or gross negligence.

15Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously breach these terms, for example by tampering with purchases or generating invalid ad activity. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 4, 5, 11, 14 and 16) continue after the terms end.

16Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts or before the consumer authorities available to you there. Before going to court, please contact us: most issues can be solved quickly by email.

17Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app or the law changes and will change the “Effective” date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app or in the store release notes before it takes effect. If you continue to use the app after the change, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can stop using the app.
