Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and DuruSoft ("we", "us") for the use of the Prompta app for iPhone and iPad ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The app

Prompta is a teleprompter: it shows your script on screen while you record video with your iPhone's or iPad's camera or read without a camera. Features marked "Coming soon" in the app are not yet available and are not part of any purchase until they are released.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or distribute the app, except as permitted by law.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the scripts you write or import and to the videos you record ("your content"). Your content is stored on your device; we do not claim any ownership of it and do not receive it. You are responsible for backing up your content. Deleting the app or using "Delete my data" removes scripts and the recording list from the app permanently. Deleting the app also deletes videos kept in the app's own folder (used when Photos access is not allowed); videos in the Photos app are not affected.

5. Acceptable use

You are responsible for how you use the app and for your content. In particular, you agree:

• to obtain any consent required by law before recording other people;
• not to use the app to infringe copyright or other rights, or to create unlawful, harmful or deceptive content;
• not to interfere with the app, its purchase system or its security.

6. Free version and Prompta Premium

The free version includes recording in HD (720p), export and mirror mode; Full HD (1080p) and 4K recording are part of Prompta Premium. Scripts of up to about 1,500 characters (roughly 90 seconds) can be used on the teleprompter freely; a longer script can be unlocked for the rest of the day by watching an optional ad, up to three times a day. The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob as described in our Privacy Policy. Prompta Premium removes the limit and shows no ads. The current content of Premium is described on the purchase screen in the app.

7. Subscriptions and payments

• Billing. Purchases are made through the App Store and charged to your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may include local taxes.
• Automatic renewal. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, in the App Store (your account › Subscriptions), or with "Manage subscription" in the app (Settings › Account & data). After cancellation, Premium stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Free trials. If a free trial is offered (to new subscribers only), you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Lifetime purchase. If offered, a lifetime purchase is a one-time payment and does not renew.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot refund App Store purchases ourselves. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under consumer protection law.
• Restore. You can restore an active purchase on a new device with "Restore purchases" in the app, using the same Apple Account.

8. Third-party services

Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store and subscription status is verified by RevenueCat, Inc. Your use of the App Store is subject to Apple's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

Apple. These Terms are between you and DuruSoft only, not Apple. In addition:

• We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content, and for any maintenance and support; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation, and claims that the app or your use of it infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and once you accept them, Apple has the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

9. Changes to the app

We may update, change or discontinue features of the app. If we make a change that significantly reduces what an active Premium purchase includes, we will inform you in the app.

10. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that recordings will never be lost or damaged (for example because of device storage, battery or system limitations). Please check your recordings before relying on them.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, including liability for intent or gross negligence.

12. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend your license if you seriously breach these Terms. Sections 4, 10, 11 and 13 remain in effect after termination.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are subject to the courts of Istanbul without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Effective date" above and, for significant changes, inform you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
