Delete your data

In short
  • Prompta has no accounts. Your scripts, settings and recording list are stored only on your phone, and you can delete them yourself at any time.
  • The only data kept outside your phone because of Prompta is your subscription record (if you bought Premium). To delete it, email us — we complete the request within 30 days.

1. Data on your phone — delete it yourself

Scripts, their earlier versions, folders, the recording list and your preferences never leave your phone. To delete them:

  1. Open Prompta and go to Settings › Data & privacy (in the app: Ayarlar › Veri ve gizlilik).
  2. Tap Delete my data (Verilerimi sil) and confirm.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Uninstalling the app also deletes all of this data. Videos you recorded are saved in your phone's gallery (Movies/Prompta); the app does not delete them — remove them with your gallery app.

2. Subscription records — request deletion by email

If you bought Prompta Premium, a record of the purchase is kept by RevenueCat, the service we use to verify subscriptions. It contains a random, anonymous app user ID and your purchase details (product, dates, status, purchase token). It is not linked to your name or email.

  1. Email duru.sofft@gmail.com with the subject "Prompta data deletion request".
  2. Include your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA. and is in your Google Play purchase receipt email). We need it to find your record, because we do not know who you are otherwise.

We delete the record from RevenueCat within 30 days of your request and reply to confirm. Deleting it does not cancel your subscription — cancel it first in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions if you no longer want it — and after deletion, "Restore purchases" may no longer find the purchase in the app.

What is not deleted: Google Play keeps its own records of your payment and order under the Google Privacy Policy; we cannot delete those. You can manage them in your Google Account.

3. Advertising data

In the free version, Google AdMob may process your device's advertising ID and related data to show ads (see the Privacy Policy, section 7). We do not store this data. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your phone's settings (Settings › Privacy › Ads or Google › Ads, depending on the device).

4. Voice commands

If you turn on voice commands, speech is processed by the Google speech recognition service on your phone only to detect a command. Prompta does not store or upload this audio or text, so there is nothing for us to delete.
